Second only to China, the USA solar and storage markets reached new highs in 2020 and the first half of 2020. Surpassing 2 million solar installations in May 2020, the market enjoyed its largest Q1 in history with 2.7 GW installed, and 4.9 GW of large scale solar projects in construction. Storage is also coming of age. Spurred by Order 841 and individual state targets, Q1 2020 was also a bumper year for energy storage with 148.8 MW installed.
