nt Stress Foundation Regional Trainings are &ldquo\;must attend&rdquo\; ex
periences for anyone working in the fields of Crisis Intervention\, Disast
er Response\, Education\, Emergency Services\, Employee Assistance\, Healt
hcare\, Homeland Security\, Human Resources\, Mental Health\, Military\, S
piritual Care\, Transportation and Traumatic Stress.

ety of courses are taught by our renowned faculty during a four- or five-d
ay training. Registrants have the opportunity to attend several courses\,
earn Continuing Education\, network with CISM practitioners from around th
e world\, discuss CISM team issues with ICISF faculty and staff\, and fulf
ill program requirements for ICISF&rsquo\;s Certificate of Specialized Tra
ining Program.

\nICISF offers discounts on registration fees
to Active Military\, Veterans\, Students\, and Groups of five or more. For

\nThe Academy of Crisis Intervention Program
awards partial/full scholarships to assist individuals who are unable to a
ttend ICISF training due to financial constraints.  \;This scholarship
program was designed for people who have never had any ICISF training or
are trying to take the core courses\, but have financial constraints.

\nCourses not filled to minimum capacity by Sunday\, November 11\
, 2020 11:59 PM may be cancelled. We recommend you schedule travel arrange

\nAll ICISF training participants will b
e awarded general Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from UMBC on their Cer
tificate of Attendance. At the end of the Regional Training you will recei
ve a course evaluation via email. After completing the course evaluation y
ou will be emailed a link to print your certificate.  \;All participan
ts are required to check in at the ICISF Registration Desk before the star
t of your course each day in order to verify attendance.

\nUM
BC CEUs are awarded at a ratio of one Continuing Education Unit for every
10 Contact Hours (refer to course descriptions for Contact Hours &\; UM
BC CEUs). ICISF Certificates of Attendance are not proof of profession spe
cific CE/Contact Hours. Many national\, state and local licensing boards a
nd professional organizations will grant Continuing Education credit for a
ttendance at our courses (save this information and your Certificate of At
tendance). It is the responsibility of the participant to determine if his

\nProfessional Development Hours (PDHs) are available for Employee Assis
tance Professionals for courses offered at this training. The number of ap
proved PDHs depends on the course selected\, and is equal to the number of
contact (instructional) hours for that course. If applying for PDHs for E
APs\, please request during registration and CE information will be emaile
d to you approximately one week after the Regional Training. Completion of
the course evaluation is required in order to receive your CEUs.

br />\nAll courses offered at this training meet the qualifications for 7\
, 13 or 14 hours (depending on the course attended) of contact hours for N
ational Certified Addiction Counselors by NAADAC\, The Association for Add
iction Professionals\, Provider Approval No. 497. If applying for NAADAC\,
please request during registration and CE information will be emailed to
you approximately one week after the Regional Training. Completion of the
course evaluation is required in order to receive your CEUs.

\nThe University of Maryla
nd Baltimore County (UMBC) Department of Emergency Health Services in part
nership with the UMBC Training Centers is now offering a certification in
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). This is the world&rsquo\;s fir
st university-based certification in the field of CISM and psychological c
risis intervention.
\n
\nThe goal of the certification is to fos
ter improved knowledge about crisis intervention and disaster response fro
m the CISM perspective. In doing so\, it is hoped that research and practi
ce shall be enhanced. The certification is exam-based\, delivered online a
nd using an open-book format. ICISF approved instructors may want to be am
ong the first to earn the UMBC Certification.

\nAll courses offered by ICISF mee
t partial requirements for individuals seeking certification from the Asso
ciation of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS) as a Certified Trauma Speci
alist (CTS)\, Certified Trauma Responder (CTR)\, and/or Certified Trauma S
ervices Specialist (CTSS) designation. ATSS offers board certification to
qualified individuals who provide services\, intervention\, and treatment
in the field of traumatic stress. Those seeking certification from ATSS mu
st present evidence of attendance for specific course. For information reg
