\nJustification Toolkit
\n
\nWe have put together the following information to assist you
if you need to get authorization from your organization or agency.  \;
Please feel free to use or modify as it pertains to your circumstances.
\n
\nThe ICISF&rsquo\;s Regional Training in The Woodlands\, Texas
is the premier forum for education and training among those who provide c
risis intervention services. The ICISF Regional Training will provide pres
entations appropriate for those just beginning their exploration of the fi
eld of crisis intervention\, and those already serving on CISM or crisis i
ntervention teams. We invite you to share in our efforts to demonstrate th
e impact that enhanced quality can have on our agencies\, organizations\,
businesses\, communities\, and our world.
\n
\nAnd\, it will pre
pare you for the long road ahead.  \;In less than one week.
\n
\nBelow is some helpful information to show the value of attending the
ICISF Regional Training.
\n
\nThis Justification Toolkit
includes:
\n
\nCalculate ROI for Attendance
\nJus
tification letter for your supervisor
\n
\nGeneral Tips<
/strong>
\n
\nMany travel budgets and training budgets have been
slashed\, and some employers are experiencing severe financial problems.
Which means that regardless of the merits attending ICISF&rsquo\;s Regiona
l Training\, you&rsquo\;ll probably need to justify the expense. So here a
re some things you might want to consider:
\n
\nFocus on what yo
u will specifically bring back to your organization as return for the inve
stment.
\nOffer to prepare and deliver a short presentation and Q&
\;A to your colleagues to share what you learned. That way others in your
organization will get the benefits of your attendance\, too.
\n
\nBe ready with a plan that shows who will cover for you while you are att
ending ICISF&rsquo\;s Regional Training.
